7. Slide Masters cabin
The slide master cabin located across the river was constructed the same time as the original wooden log slide. Mr. Bryson had the exclusive rights to the river and because of this every logging company using the log slide had to pay him a fee. All logs were marked with the companies stamp and it was the job of the slide master to keep track of the logs and charge the companies.
